Spalt Delegation Visit to St. Cloud
Wednesday, June 21st, 2006
o Spalt delegation arrived in St. Cloud in the evening, met with host families
Thursday, June 22nd, 2006
o 1000 hours – Official ceremony/reception of Sister Cities in City Council Chambers
o 1100 hours – City Trolley Tour with Mayor Kleis to Stearns County History Museum
o 1330 hours – Lunch at Hemsings Deli (one of oldest buildings in St Cloud)
o 1500 hours – City Trolley tour with Mayor Kleis to Munsinger & Clemens Garden
o 1700 hours – Lemonade Concert at St. Cloud State University.

o 0800 hours – On the radio with host Bob Hughes and Mayor Dave Kleis
o 0900 hours – To Minneapolis-St Paul to visit the State Capitol and the Mall of America
o 1700 hours – Liberty Savings Bank Block Party at Westwood School Park
Saturday, June 24th, 2006
o 1000 hours – Wheels, Wings and Water Festival Parade in downtown St. Cloud
o 1200 hours – Sauk Rapids RiverFest for lunch and festivities
o Evening – Dinner and social at O'Hara's Pub in St. Cloud

o 0930 hours – Church Service at Cathedral of Saint Mary Church
o 1100 hours – St. Cloud Regional Airport for Airport Fly-In Breakfast and Aircraft display,
pancake and sausage breakfast, a tour of the airport by Director Bill Towle
o Some members went to Charles A. Lindberg House in Little Falls
o 1800 hours – Private reception/BBQ at City Council President Mike Landy’s home

o 0800 hours – Chamber of Commerce gathering, tour of businesses (Glueck Brewery in
Cold Spring, Grasshopper Chapel, and Quarry Park).
o 1630 hours – Farewell reception in City Council Chambers

o A few delegation members stayed and went to the Mississippi Headwaters

o Some of remaining guests toured Police Station and Fire Department
